My summary of food waste:
According to the United Nations Food and
Agricultural Organization, there are 33 percentage of food is wasted and the number
is large. But why? I think that because we often waste food unintentionally.
For instance, when we go to supermarkets and we can get a bargain (such as Buy-one-get-one-free)
but it also means we sometimes buy too much of something. If it's fresh
produce, it might go off before we get to use it all. So how can we avoid wasting
food? My answer to the question is that buy what we need rather than what we
want.
Right, buy what we need rather than what we want.
